Terms of Use

1. Eligibility and accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and for all activity that takes place under your account.

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate and current information.

We may suspend or close accounts that are used in a way that breaches these Terms or harms the service, other users, or the operation of Abide & Anchor.

2. Open reading access

Abide & Anchor is intended to remain open to everyone for reading and encouragement.

Open reading content remains available without a paid Companion subscription. This includes devotional and Bible-based reading content and other open reading features made available from time to time.

3. Free personal account

A free personal account may be used to access personal saving features made available by Abide & Anchor.

These may include bookmarks, saved Prayer Corner entries and other account-level personal tools offered from time to time.

Creating a free account does not, by itself, begin a paid Companion subscription.

4. Companion subscription

Companion is an optional paid subscription that provides access to additional private tools and deeper personal features.

These may include journalling, personal notes, saved reflections, study tools and other Companion features offered from time to time.

Available Companion features, plans and pricing are shown within Abide & Anchor at the time of purchase.

5. Free trial

If a free trial is offered, the applicable trial terms will be shown at the time the trial is presented.

Unless stated otherwise, a free trial:

• begins only when you actively start it
• is limited to one trial per eligible account
• gives temporary access to Companion features for the stated trial period
• ends automatically when the trial period expires unless you subscribe

If your trial ends and you do not subscribe, your Companion access may end or become limited depending on the feature. Your saved personal content remains yours and export or download options will remain available where provided.

We may change, withdraw or limit trial availability at any time.

6. Pricing and changes

Subscription pricing and available plans are shown at the time of purchase.

Prices and plan details may change from time to time. If they do, changes will apply from the next billing period unless otherwise stated.

Where appropriate, we may provide notice within Abide & Anchor or by email.

7. Billing, renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions are managed through the platform or payment service used to start the subscription.

You can view, manage or cancel your subscription through that same platform or service.

If you cancel, your access will usually remain active until the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise by the relevant platform or payment provider.

8. Access after cancellation or failed payment

If your subscription ends, is cancelled or payment fails, your Companion access may end or become limited.

Open reading content will remain available.

Your personal content remains yours. Where export or download tools are provided, you may continue to export or download your data without an active Companion subscription.

9. Anchor Partner tier

If an Anchor Partner tier is offered, it may include additional features such as an Anchor Partner badge, early access to selected features or other benefits described at the time you choose that tier.

Anchor Partner benefits may change over time.

10. Your content

You may create journal entries, notes, reflections, prayer content and other personal content within Abide & Anchor.

You remain responsible for the content you create and store.

You must not use Abide & Anchor to store or share unlawful, abusive, infringing or harmful content.

We do not claim ownership of your personal content. You grant us the limited rights necessary to store, display and process that content for the purpose of operating the service for you.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Abide & Anchor.

This includes attempting to:

• hack, disrupt or interfere with the service
• gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems or data
• reverse engineer or exploit the platform
• scrape, copy or reproduce protected content without permission
• use the service in a way that harms other users or the operation of the service

12. Not professional advice

Abide & Anchor provides spiritual encouragement and general information only.

It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice.

If you need professional help, please seek advice from a properly qualified professional.

Unless otherwise stated, Abide & Anchor devotionals, reflections, templates, study materials and website or app content are original works owned by Abide & Anchor.

Scripture quotations are from the World English Bible (WEB) unless otherwise noted.

You may not copy, republish, sell, redistribute or commercially use Abide & Anchor content without permission, except where sharing features are expressly provided.

14. Service changes and availability

We may add, remove, update or change features, content, plans or availability from time to time.

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time.

When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide notice within Abide & Anchor or by email where appropriate.

Your continued use of Abide & Anchor after updated Terms take effect means you accept those updated Terms.
