We collect the minimum information needed to operate the app and provide your account and saved content.

This may include:

• Account information: email address, user ID, and sign in information required to authenticate you.
• Content you choose to save: journal entries (Captain's Log), notes, highlights, saved verses, prayer requests and answers, favourites, and any other items you save inside the app.
• App settings and preferences: your preferences and configuration choices.
• Technical information for reliability and security: app version and basic error information needed to diagnose issues and keep the service stable.

2) Your personal content

Your journal entries and personal content are intended to be private to you.

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not sell your journal content.
• We do not use your personal content for advertising.

3) Sharing content

If you use a share feature, we may generate a shareable link.

• Shared links include only the content you choose to share, for example a Daily Pause.
• Shared links do not include your private notes, journal entries, prayers, highlights, or other saved personal content.

4) Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through In App Purchase when enabled in the iPhone app. We do not receive your full payment card details.

5) Service providers

We may use trusted service providers to operate Abide & Anchor, such as hosting, databases, and email delivery.

We do not use third party advertising trackers.

6) Data export and deletion

You can export or download your data.

You can request account deletion. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or operational reasons.

7) Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No online service can guarantee perfect security.
